India Gate Wada Kolam rice is a medium sized grain which is widely preferred in southern India and largely cultivated in the peninsular region of Maharashtra. It is well cherished for its soft texture, fresh feel and a distinct floral aroma when cooked. It is light in weight with an easily digestible quotient and is popularly known as ‘miniature pearls of exquisite delicacies’ widely used for preparation of rice porridge in many Indian festivals.

The best harvest of the region is identified and then quality tested—before it's sent for cleaning, milling and packaging at India’s most advance and high end rice manufacturing plant.
