Vietnam has agreed to strengthen rice export cooperation with Thailand and the Philippines in order to ensure regional and global food security. 

On Sunday in Tokyo, during the ASEAN-Japan Commemorative Summit, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos of the Philippines and his Thai counterpart, Srettha Thavisin, to reach an agreement.
