The deadline for exporting broken rice - ITC(HS) code 10064000 to Senegal and Gambia through the National Cooperative Exports Limited (NCEL) has been extended by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) with Notification No. 42/2024-25 dated December 5, 2024.

Amendments Made

The export timeline has been extended by two months, allowing shipments until January 31, 2025. The provisions outlined in previous directives, such as Notification No. 46 dated November 30, 2023, and Notification No. 15/2024-25 dated June 5, 2024, are amended in this notification.

The extension demonstrates that committed export quantities have been completed and complies with the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act of 1992 and the Foreign Trade Policy of 2023.
